Struggling with leash training?

This comprehensive program will teach you my 6-week process to dream dog walks.

Regardless of whether you have a new puppy OR an older dog with a long history of pulling on leash, this program is for you.

Rather than just giving you a bunch of random leash training tips that you need to stitch together yourself, I wanted to create a step-by-step learning process for you. The training is broken down into easy-to-follow weekly assignments. There is also a checklist at the end of each week, so you’ll know if your dog is ready to progress.

More information:

What's included?

72-page PDF and linked video tutorials. Program covers all necessary skills for enjoyable, tension-free walks. I recognize that everyone learns differently, so each step of this hybrid program is explained in text, photos, and linked video demonstrations. Upon purchase you will receive an email with a downloadable link to a PDF version of guide.

Expectations:

This program won’t give you an overnight fix, but it can solve your leash struggles. If you can commit to 30-60 minutes of daily training for 6 weeks, I can transform your walks. I like to joke that most dogs’ leash skills are currently at a kindergarten level (at best), while the guardian is expecting university status. No wonder both you and your dog are frustrated! This training program will show you how to sequentially teach all necessary skills for enjoyable walks.

Two Distinct Beliefs

If you search Google or YouTube for dog training, you'll find two distinct camps who both hold very opposite beliefs. There is the one camp that promotes prong collars, slip-leashes and the methodologies are restraint, control and submission.

Then the other camp is the All-Positive group who use treats and their methodologies are luring and repetitive conditioning-style training (fun and games included).

Our Golden Retriever (Ollie) is almost 2 years old now. As a pup he was super-stubborn, very headstrong and super high energy. His walks were a challenge from Day 1. However, he is super intelligent.

Being new to dog training I headed to YouTube (like everyone probably does). Due to Ollie's overpowering nature I was attracted to the first camp - the prong collar gang.

We also took Ollie to two different dog schools and he always learned quickly. But walks were still an arm-wrenching experience. I even suffered knee pain for many months due to his pulling.

Ollie learned basic obedience instantly. He is very smart. But still his leash control was out of non-existant.

In the last three to four weeks I wondered if I had joined the wrong camp. I mean, surely if the sharp tugs on the leash hadn't worked in almost two years, then surely things had to change.

In our favour, we have a super-smart dog who loves to learn things.

I bought the course: 6 Weeks to Dream Walks Step-By-Step Leash Training Program, by Happy Hounds Dog Training.

That was 1 week ago.

So, I am now at the end of our Week 1 of training.

Ollie is in his element! I have never seen him so happy and engaged on our walks!

Ollie never looked at me once on any of our previous walks but he is already becoming more engaged and he is checking-in with me frequently. Often, I only need to show him something once and he "gets it" immediately.

It's only week one, so I am not talking about miracles here, but Ollie is definitely improving.

If I had started this course when he was a pup then I am sure that by now he would be a pure joy on every walk.

I will definitely be completing the 6-week program and I am looking forward to it very much.

If I could suggest a Part 2 course then I would love to suggest a course entitled: "Beyond The Leash" which covers off-leash training. If you do it, then sign me up!

Enjoying watching, reading and learning

This is a great resource that I am putting into practice everyday. It will take time as my dog is 6 years old, he came to me age 3 with a few issues that I have now helped him through. He's a springer spaniel so really does love to pull to all the scents, plus he's 20kg and I'm tiny. The training in the PDF and videos is very much the same as I've been doing with the added bonus of finding some tweaks I can make. Well worth the cost of the course, which is not expensive to be honest.

awesome step by step for training people to train their dogs!

I'm so grateful for this very thorough and methodical step by step training program. I haven't completed reading it yet but am making my way through it, including the videos. I have been fostering dogs recently and realize I need guidance to deal with the issues that come up as best I can within the limited parameters I have to work with. There's so much to learn! Thank you.

The best training ever!

There are so many ideas and advice we can find on the internet but this 6 week loose leash training is the best leash training I have ever had! Very easy to understand and implement. I'm only in the "week 2" phase but I'm already seeing results ! This free force training is the best and the right one! Thank you very much Stephanie for all your great advices, explanations and tips and for the great work you do with dogs and their owners!

Loose leash enjoyable training 6 week course

I wouldn’t normally buy a puppy trading program online , but I must say it’s the best money I’ve spent , it’s been 2 weeks training so far and our mischievous 4 month old puppy ( Bea) is learning fast ,we are learning how to teach as well which is so comforting to know we are training the correct way and not confusing her.

We are extremely happy with the leash walking program that Stephanie has put together, if you love your human companion I’m sure you won’t be disappointed teaching Stephanie’s kind training techniques.

Cheers
Pieter
